The WD Black SN8100 (WDS400T1XHM) is a high-performance NVMe SSD with a PCIe Gen5×4 interface, designed for the most demanding workloads. It offers sequential speeds of up to 14,900 MB/s read and 14,000 MB/s write, and random performance of up to 2,300,000 IOPS read and 2,400,000 IOPS write. It uses 218-layer 3D TLC CBA NAND, a DRAM-backed Silicon Motion SM2508 controller, and nCache 4.0 cache. The built-in aluminum heatsink with RGB lighting ensures reliable operation even under heavy loads. It is compatible with Windows and Linux systems and supported by the WD SSD Dashboard tool.
